BSL Updates
1. In Auburn, California, they are hoping to implement a new program as an alternative to BSL. The majority of the program would be educational, teaching children and adults how to approach and act around dogs.
2. In San Bernardino, California, an ordinance was approved by the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors and will require all pit bulls over the age of four months to be spayed or neutered and require dogs housed in a kennel for breeding to be licensed.
3. In Hinds County, MS, residents who own pit bulls, hybrid wolf dogs and exotic animals must obtain a permit from the Sheriff’s Department and hold insurance under changes approved Monday to the animal control ordinance.
